How do you update your video adapters on your computer.?

i have a dell and im not to handy with computers can i have step by step instructions.
How do you update your video adapters on your computer.?
This Guide is for WindowsXP





Ok, step by step, here we go.





-Right click "My Computer" and select "properties"


-Click on "hardware" and select "device manager"


-Expand the "display adapters" folder


-Right click the Graphics Controller(whatever it is that you have)


-Select "update driver"


-In the Hardware Update Wizard window select "Yes, this time only" press "next"


-In the next screen select "download software automatically" press "next"

Actually your suppose to uninstall your drivers completly before upgrading to a newer one.
