we have 2 computers at my home i had recently bought a linkseys wireless router and a usb adapter i could install the router on 1 computer but when i try to install the usb adpter on the other computer it would go about halfway through the installation and stop and then freeze up the computer now i was wondering why it would do this

did you add the router to the software of the computer...it might not recognize the router and discard the whole setup
Reply:Well, I'm guessing one of the PC's aren't probably as new? Some computers don't deal with routers very well, something a professinal might have to look at. Or, it may just be the program it's self. That could be it. I hope this helped!
Reply:is the usb adapter compatible with the version of windows you are trying to install it on? Is the computer you are trying to install it on older and and have enough memory?
A few different issues could be going on
