PING command is used to troubleshoot connectivity problems between your computer and another computer or a printer. It will help you diagnose where the problem is located and whether to see which computer is the culprit. All it does is send 4 packets to the recipient and tell you if it's received or not. Or you can send continuous packets to test the connectivity speed before it drops.
