Consider EV-DO from telus

Rogers and Bell have WiMAX. I can't find coverage maps though

EV-DO is broadband over Cellular. WiMax is 802.16e and is cheaper and Faster (should Be). You require to carry around your modem and you need to plug it into an AC power source. It is not as portable.

Telus EV-DO is either a small USB or PCMCIA adapter for your notebook.
