dunno if you can share files

but you can share an internet connection

get a router

connect the modem to the router

connect the other computers to the router (wirelessly or wired)

there's your connection

stick a network printer in there if you want to share a printer too.

now that's easy untill you stick a mac in

the mac may not be able ot see the PC, it may also not support any network printers.

try opening 128 programs on the desktop of your mac and see if that solves your problem (no, this is not unrelated)

Leopard is designed to network to just about any network.

Go to System Preferences and Click on Sharing. Select File Sharing and Printer Sharing then click on Options. In the Options window, select Share Files and Folders using SMB. Enter a password for sharing.

If you want access without a password, go to System Preferences and click on Accounts and in the Guest Account select Allow Guests to Connect Using Shared Folders.

On your network, you'll need a wireless access point or router for your PCs and Macs to talk to each other wirelessly.

To browse the network on the MAC just bring up Finder and click on the Share icon on the left. It will show you all PCs and Macs with file sharing turned on.

On the PC, they can browse the network using My Network Places icon on their desktop or Start button.
