Exchanger 2003 server configured as global mail server?

I have configured my exchange server 2003 SBS as mail server. i can send /recieve mail to all Domain server users. But i want to sent my mail outside i.e., hotmail , yahoo, rediff. Please give me the step by step procedure. how to obtain DNS hosting %26amp; MX service

you have to have an external domain name, you can use a free dns hosting such as zoneedit.com and create a mx record with your external domain name.

Are you hosting your MX records locally?


On your DNS Server, make sure you have a Mail Exchanger (MX) record with data as yourdomain.com. Also a Alias (CNAME) record with data as yourExchangeServerName.yourdomain.com


On your PIX, there should be a static route to allow all outside trafic to your exchange IP address.
