What are alternatives to dsl dial up and cable, especialy rual areas?
My mother was able to get DSL in a very rural area. Check with the local phone company and ISPs. WIreless from towers exists in some places. Satellite is an option. If there is cable tv, that is an option. Barring more exotic options, you are looking at dialup.
