i just got a new macbook and im trying to connect it to the internet. i have three computers already hooked onto one network, but i dont know how to hook up my mac to this network too. i have tried everything but it just doesnt work. any tips?

I have verizon wireless internet...and a macbook pro. Most macbooks come with built in wireless cards that search for connections. If there was one wirelessly, it would find it. You can always plug the ethernet cord from one of the other computers into it and you should be ready to go.
You may have a router capable of wireless...try typing in 192.168.1.1 into the web address bar. You may have to log in to your router so try the username password combination of "admin admin" or "root root" if that doesn't work. If it does, you should be able to configure the settings and it should be self explanatory. Hope this helps. If not, call your isp.
