Ventrilo lag?

When i sign on to ventrilo


my ping is fine, usually between 5-20


but after a while


the ping gets REALLY high, for example between 1,000-20,000


it gets so bad that when i talk ,my friends tell me that i sound like this


" yo wh at is up, wh at y ou gu ys do ing h uh?








any explanations?


im thinking its my internet connection but im not 100 percent sure. and i tried to uninstall and reinstall.
Ventrilo lag?
1. Stop any BIG download you are doing. (Torrent, etc.)


2. Check for your router. It might have a QOS option. This is "Quality Of Service". You can configure this in order to prioritize the ventrilo packets over the rest of the transfer. Like that your voice won't lag anymore.
